Welcome to Take PART

Whew! After months of study and learning together, followed by months of inspiration, discovery, and collaboration, we are ready to launch Take PART, the Portland Anti-Racism Team. We are very excited to add our efforts to the elimination of racism in Portland, Oregon. Portland has a long history of racist laws, policies, organizations, and corruption. To this day, our city remains marked by its overwhelming whiteness, the legacy of its past choices, and the persistence of racism in our modern community. Each member of PART brings a commitment to understanding our history, fostering our personal development, sharing with our community, and creating a new culture based on equity and justice. We look forward to pursuing our mission by sharing speakers, events, resources, news, and collaborators with you, our neighbors.
